Light Abstractions

It was suggested in a recent tutorial that I should explore the use of film photography. Throught the use of film, I had less control over the light effects within the image making, capturing memory as a trace and not a solid recollection. It was also discussed that this was almost a way of blind image making, like in the text 'Memoirs of the Blind' by Jacques Derrida he explores issues blindness in relation to drawing and other image making. I intend to develop the use of film photography in relation to light exposure and obscurity.
